Mid-century inspired—minimalism, brutalism, honest materials.
Vitalic-12 is a modern, high-efficiency 2-way that delivers horn dynamics without the room-overrun. A fast 12-inch woofer hands off to a precision waveguide for effortless scale, impact, and low listening fatigue—at everyday volumes and well beyond.
Why it feels alive
High efficiency, low compression. Big, unforced dynamics and microdetail at low volume; clean headroom when you push it.
Seamless hand-off. Crossover is tuned by measurement and ear for a relaxed, coherent midband—voices sit forward, never sharp.
Real bass, compact footprint. A tuned enclosure gives agile, tuneful low end—music, not boom.
Monolithic Wooden Horn
What it is
A horn carved from a large, solid billet of Baltic birch plywood. The mass and stiffness provide an exceptionally stable acoustic structure.
Musical properties & advantages
Minimal coloration. Dense wood damps parasitic vibration—cleaner mids, natural tone.
Greater intelligibility. Attacks and decays resolve without glassiness; more micro-detail at low levels.
Soundstage & focus. Tighter localization; stage width and depth remain stable.
Low listening fatigue. No spiky resonances or ringing—easy to listen for hours.
Dynamics with control. The structure doesn’t “breathe”: drums hit hard and bass stays tight, even on peaks.
What you’ll hear
Center-locked vocals with body and air
Drum transients that start/stop on a dime
Brass/strings with bite and shimmer, minus the glare
A wide, stable stage that stays intact off-axis
Key Features
CNC-machined, solid-birch horn block bonded into the cabinet (maximum rigidity, minimal resonance)
≈96 dB sensitivity for vivid dynamics with modest power
12″ pro woofer: carbon-fiber–impregnated paper cone and cloth surround.
Horn-loaded HF in a custom waveguide for control and dynamics
Hand-built Baltic birch cabinet; internal bracing; low-diffraction edges
Premium crossover parts; robust binding posts
Optional Active Vitalic-12 with integrated DSP/amps (plug-and-play, preset voicings)
Finishes & Options
Cabinet: Baltic birch — raw/natural ply (clear or matte oil) or custom real-wood veneer (Walnut, Oak, bespoke)
Baffle: Black silk or full Noir
Configuration: Passive or Active; matching plinths available
Your system, your way
Our speakers are available in both passive and active versions—and both are built to the same high standard. The passive model is a classic, flexible setup that lets you pair the speakers with your favorite external amp and keep the signal chain simple.
The active version uses Hypex Fusion modules: high-end Class-D amplification with onboard DSP. This allows us to tune the crossover and time/phase alignment with greater precision, while also eliminating the need to buy a separate amplifier. In practice, you’re getting amplification and control that can outperform many standalone amps in the same price range—built directly into the speaker for a cleaner, more optimized system.
